BHANGRA DANCE MOVES: Prabin Villareesh, of the Manasamitra Dance Company
Classical dancers Prabin Villareesh and Sujata Mahanty of the Manasamitra Dance Company spent a week at the school teaching the children the dance and crafts of India.
Tina Ellis, headteacher, said the visit gave children a chance to delve into another culture.
The Indian artists said the school’s children were enthusiastic and responsive.
The pair said they were enjoying their visit to Maryport and gave a thumbs-up to the town’s only Tandoori restaurant where they had eaten.
