Lived at 54 Mosedale Cres until joining the army in 1962.Even after all these years I still think of the good old days and your site helps with these. Working days are almost all over now and am off to spend the
rest of my days in spain. Keep up the good
work and even though I will be sitting in the sun will keep up to date via your site

I was delighted to find your new Maryport local website.

My dad, Gilbert Wilson, who is now 94, was born and spent his first 14
years in Maryport. My grandparents emigrated to the US in 1928. My
great-grandmother continued to live on Kirby Street until the late
1950's. Maryport has always been a part of our family, and I've been
able to visit a number of times.

Every week or so I go out on the web and search for anything related to
Maryport that I can print off and take to dad. Your new site is a
bonanza. Keep up the good work!
